Craft Stalls
The Craft
Stalls
are to be found in two distinct areas of the Showground. Firstly they
are in the long standing craft hall formed from the storage building in
the centre of the Showground and secondly in a marquee near the sheep
section which was introduced a few years back to allow the large number
of exhibitors to have a better chance of attending the Show.
Be sure to visit both Craft Areas as there is always an assortment of excellent work to view and, perhaps, to tempt you to purchase.
Many
of the exhibitors demonstrate their skills during the course of the day
Amongst
the many crafts featured you will generally find jewellery, wood turning
and carving, wooden toys, needlework items, pottery and engraving.
Trade Stand and Craft Stall competitions
Each year the Trade Stands and Craft Stalls are assessed by independent judges and a perpetual trophy is awarded to the winner of each section.
